Unindentified perpetrators made burglary to the church of St. Peter and Paul in Brod and left KLA graffiti

On 18 July 2021 in the village of Brod (Štrpce municipality)  Kosovo police informed the local priest that during the regular patrol they noticed the damaged door on the church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Brod. The parish priest found the broken lock on the entrance gate, the burglared church and KLA graffiti inside. During the day the police with the presence of their team from Priština made inspection of the site and opened investigation.
Diocese of Raška and Prizren expresses a concern after this latest in the series of many vandal attacks on our holy sites in Kosovo and Metohija and makes an appeal for respect of fundamental religious freedoms as well as the spiriual and cultural heritage of Orthodox Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.
